Create and foster an innovative environment for Experience Design(XD)professionals at Intuit
You are a designers’ designer who thinks strategically, has a strong point of view on design as strategy and has a series of successes in your recent past.
You are externally networked, highly regarded, and one of the few designers that senior leaders approach for coaching, mentorship, and strategic expertise. You have moved beyond wanting a simple quarterly business impact and want to grow the capabilities of design on a very large scale.
You drool at the thought of changing how a company works – and have the savvy and smarts to truly make it happen. You are accomplished yet humble, smart yet approachable, strategic yet can accomplish the most mundane activities with flair. Most of all, you excel at building relationships with senior leaders and are tenacious and fun-loving.
If this sounds like you, come and join the Intuit as the XD Growth and Development Leader, reporting to the VP of Design Innovation.
Intuit is well on its way to being a design-thinking company (as reported in the June Harvard Business Review) and is moving toward being a design-driven company. Help us make that happen by:
• Driving the holistic development of XDers (designers, researchers, writers) across Intuit through the XD Forum (annual conference held in December), quarterly design speaker series, XD Rotational Development program, XD Mentoring program
• Working with Product Management, Product Development, and Design leaders to understand what creates a great design environment across Intuit, what gets in the way, and 3-5 experiments to try in the next year to improve the environments for our XDers.
• Improving the XD Recruiting strategy/hiring plan to grow our talent and helping interview/assess key talent across Intuit
• Driving key design projects – either strategically important to a specific business or to our CEO/Founder’s change management objectives.
• Speaking externally to highlight the great thinking, culture change and experiences at Intuit.

Qualifications
• 15+ years of design expertise – increasing impact over time
• Strong track record of results impacting designers, researchers, design leaders, product managers, development managers, and business leaders
• Well-known across the industry
• Exceptional communication skills
• Exceptional relationship building and influence skills
