POSITION OVERVIEW: The individual will be responsible for assessment and recommendations of key strategic initiatives across the IFID business unit to include new solutions, new strategic partnerships, potential acquisitions, changes in strategic direction and identification and recommendations regarding potential business threats. This role requires the collaboration and coordination across both the IFID and Intuit networks and is in service to the core process drivers in the business. The role includes the identification of key business priorities, the structuring of work plans and project frames to deliver high business impact in identified strategic areas. The role requires staying current on competitive, general market and co-tangent trends, providing analytic strength and conducting qualitative research to make cross functional recommendations to the business leaders.
Qualifications:
Reporting to the EVP of Sales and Marketing, this high profile position will require an individual who has a demonstrated track record of success in strategy consulting and/or a role in which he/she has driven corporate strategy for a firm servicing the financial services markets with a background in e commerce. The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years work experience with a major strategy consulting firm advising companies on strategic direction, M&A activities and strategic alliances. The candidate may also come out of an operating company as a key strategy executive. Industry experience in financial services is a requirement and an emphasis in technology and ecommerce would be ideal.
The individual should have a strong passion for growth, quality of execution and the desire to have a substantial impact on the business. The individual will need to have experience and thrive in a matrixed organization where the results require cooperation and team work. Creative leadership is critical to this role and a strong orientation towards learning new skills, process and ideas. This individual will gain his or her insights through extensive external and internal research, meeting and learning from others and will have and develop a strong network of internal and external advisors. The individual will not be satisfied with the status quo and will have a strong preference for identifying and implementing disruptive initiatives.
